License Plate Bracket Jeep Liberty 2004

It '... FINISHED!

not to disprove this year, makes me go back to the last thread of this 2010: redo and start again!
And 'in fact yesterday that everything I undertake, or think you do, I have to inevitably do it again, starting over again since the sequence of gestures beyond the facts ... a stresss! How, exactly, has happened throughout the year to be ready today ( olé!) end.

If I go to the post I have to restart the queue to another door to their technical problems of numbering.
When getting the groceries, with a certain menu for dinner, I have to return to the list, fancy car and things have just changed.
If I do my usual recipes, well tested over time, a unexplained stroke of bad luck means that something is wrong, not the jelly becomes firm, the egg does not swell, the dough remains raw
... If I clean the house thoroughly so as not doing anything tomorrow, the flour falls from balance and whitens everything, and Ice Man really wants to return to the squid-fishing before the floor dry, leaving its beautiful footprints No 44 along the entire route.
And so I have to start over.

Fortunately'm one that always looks the glass is always full and are now quite happy to take it all philosophically, to liquidate all with two groans and a good laugh and roll up their sleeves.

In oven cooking a fragrant tart made with shortcrust Adriano (freely interpreted as available in the fridge: here the nearest supermarket is 3 miles. away, and take the machine again just annoys me!), which relaxes my tired limbs with her fragrant aroma.
I finally made (and remade) all in one way or another, so now I finally enjoy a moment of my own doing my phone calls more expensive, sending SMS and e-mail magnificence on the couch in complete silence. Among
a little 'throw myself under the hot shower, I prepare well pretty well and then go to dinner by our friends, the arm of my adorable and funny (when viewed from the right angle!) Ice Man: together we will be celebrating the arrival of the new year.
It is also dropping the wind has swept away all the clouds ...

Happy New Year: it's all a thousand times better than this!

Housewarming Bible Wordings

AND 'ROUND SO'!

Me are just a comfortable grip in the last few days ... I

oziato I (right) ate, I spent hours on the couch and calm under the tree to see movies TV with a cup of tea next (and with Modica chocolate cinnamon ), I put toys and stickers attached, and I enjoyed my affections, which are the only really important thing in life ...

I prepared a lot of good things to eat, especially on Christmas Eve, waiting for us the Revival dinner, we had arranged for us cousins reunite the family as the times of their grandparents, even grandparents now that there are more ...

So, with my mother and my sister and moral support of that little girl every five minutes shouting "That's great!" and "how good", 24 we closed in the kitchen (and my dad and Ice Man had to settle for lunch only insoles, the first with a thin sandwich and the other with a plate of spaghetti with oil and parmesan) and prepared pans, trays and platters, which we then brought incelofanati the village.

The evening was beautiful, there was love and warmth, there was joy, harmony and serenity.
There were a sincere smile, long hugs, a confused shouting and roaring, and the usual old jokes, those who do not reassure us, but really funny, because despite the time things do not change and remain there to remind us who we are and properties where we come from, in short: we identify!

There were girls screaming with happiness after being flooded by packets of us adults, there were two giant red boxes that were not even able to open (Uncle Michael is a perfect Santa Claus!) Was the tree with the lights next to the supper table with the candles, the Christmas tablecloth and dishes decorated with red and gold. There was
wine flowed and accompanying every kind of delicacy, an endless array of appetizers and snacks, drove them away in the wonderful Aunt Rosetta, chicken salad, Russian, with pineapple, chicken and then stuffed veal with tuna sauce , potatoes, mushrooms and peppers baked quiches, cold meats and cheeses, olives, fruit on skewers, sausage, vote vote ... well, a true gift of God!
.
was my Dad and his brother, laughing to tears, with the usual teasing and ridicule of all time. There were
Photos io-con-te/tu-con-me/noi-con-loro-ed-essi-con-gli-altri, and there was also my sister with the camera ...
-
C ' Finally, it was a wonderful cake Caffè Sicilia, saffron and lemon: frothy, delicious, festive ...
-
And there was also a raffle, with the girls throwing off the numbers as we did we (me, my sister and older cousin) for their age, they also under the watchful eye of my dad and Uncle Michael, who now have white hair and are grandparents.
That was the most tender moment ...
-
There was a light rain, the roads that sparkled under the lights, the stars and comets intermittently on almost all the balconies, and the dome of the Cathedral with its golden glow background dark of night, crisp air that awakened us each time you created on the terrace, the little group of smokers and / or appanzati ...

E 'was great ...
And then, each night he returned to his home , happy in his heart.
And we are put on our couch with candles, to exchange gifts and thoughts, without having a fireplace but with the feeling that his fire warms the whole room.
And I thought: "I am a lucky person, and in fact I do not miss anything.
Nothing essential.
Thank you, God ... "

And in the photo above - the first, the Nativity scene made by my mom with her hands, with Das and clothes sewn with the remnants preserved, and paper-mache ...

My Body Produces Too Much Blood

OUR SWEET CHRISTMAS!

Look, this cake to share today is like inviting in my house on Christmas Eve, every person who reads this post.
There is no Christmas, by us, without this dessert, and even if we eat out, my mom does the same and it has been kept in the fridge, and just go home at night, before the only light on the tree, there the taste of the heart before going to bed (a slight little thing, eh!)
And then you do not prepare more than the following year, on the afternoon of December 24 each.

do not know what the name actually has for us is simply this ... just say so and we understand each other now.
do not know if my mother invented trying to recreate something else that hung in his memory and his palate.
I only know what has become our tradition.
Whether we are quite jealous, and very proud.
that anyone has tasted it has always praised.
And that, contrary to initial appearances, it is also easy to do: just a little patience!
.
OUR SWEET CHRISTMAS!
Ingredients for the sponge cake:
- 3 eggs;
- 100 gr. cornstarch;
- 150 gr. sugar;
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract;

for gelatin:
- 300 gr. strawberries (even frozen) or other berries, to taste;
- 2 tablespoons sugar;
- 1 orange;
- 2 sheets of gelatin;

for the pudding:
- 1 package vanilla pudding (I opt for one of the Cameo);
- ½ l. milk;
- 3 tablespoons sugar;

also:
- 4 canned peaches with their syrup;
- rum, to taste;
- ¼ l. of whipped cream;
- 1 tablespoon sugar.

Prepare the sponge cake, whip the egg whites to work the sugar with the yolks, perhaps helping by placing the bowl over a pan of hot water, to facilitate the incorporation of air into the egg yolk and get so the coveted frothy effect.
Combine egg, stirring slowly, from bottom to top.
Add a little at a time, the starch sifted and vanilla.
Put in a buttered and floured mold, and bake at 180 ° C for 20-30 minutes, leaving the oven door slightly open (in practice will dry out!).
I used in this case, the mold of plum.
Bake the sponge cake, and then let it cool (you can prepare it the day before).

Cut the slices and cover the pan (a container from the banks rather high, like a bowl), or cups, if you prefer portions.
Sprinkle lightly with a little 'and syrup, if desired, with a splash of rum.
Reduce the peaches in small pieces, such as fruit salad, and pour on the bottom of the cup. Put in
refrigerator.
Meanwhile, prepare gelatin: blending the fruit sweetened with orange juice, using the blender, then sieve. Apart
soak the gelatin in cold water.
put half of the juice in a pan, heat getting to the boil, then add the squeezed gelatine.
Allow to cool, add the remaining juice, pour over peaches and place in refrigerator until firm.
Prepare the pudding according to the instructions on the back of the pack, add layer of fruit jelly and place in the refrigerator.
As soon as this hardens even layer, cover with whipped cream and lightly sweetened.

Very good! Every spoonful
presents a superimposition of layers of different texture and delicate flavor and smooth.
One of my favorite desserts!

Burton Audex Jacket 2010

SAINT LUCIA / 3

The output from the Duomo square in Ortigia, including balloons, doves, fireworks and music ....

The greeting of the bishop, before the archbishop, who points out that this year is 20 years from the Earthquake of 13 December 1990 (Mother, who fear !)...
Sunset Walk to Adorno and the Fountain of Arethusa, during the procession ...
The reliquary, containing a finger of the body of Saint Lucia (who is in Venice).
The torchlight procession of candles, the Porta Marina ...
Rain, inevitable, in Via Piave ...
And finally, the arrival (wet) Square in Saint Lucia, the Borgata.
E 'since 2006 I do this journey every December 13 (except last year - that just was not up ... but that's another story) since exactly one year before my sister, from London, told us that little girl was put in path to knowing.
Cognato and you went to the Basilica of SS. Jeremiah and Lucy, which houses the body of the saint, and lighted a candle.
I decided that I would have done the following year the procession.
That night, while outside raged a urugano that prevented even the celebrations for the patron saint of Syracuse, I heard from the Christmas tree, with my mother who was crying with happiness and straparlava, and my Dad went into a state of cathartic and from which he emerged only to the mysterious birth of our little star, more in love than ever.
Go procession was a moment so beautiful that I wanted to repeat it again, and despite the long road, cold and tiredness is always an experience that satisfies me deeply.
the tree now And we do it for the Immaculate Conception, that I, for Saint Lucia, I have to do ...

How Do I Build A Fort On Mount And Blade

SAINT LUCIA / SAINT LUCIA

could miss the classic dessert this holiday ?
I could not try something I had only heard a lot of times (especially from Pierre the Great), but I had never eaten nor seen it done (at my house is not used)? It could
Ice Man is not like a cake made with ricotta cheese?
No, no and no! the kennel RICOTTA

- 100 gr. buckwheat;
- 100 gr. sheep cheese;
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar vanilla;
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar;
- 1 tablespoon candied;

Cook the buckwheat in accordance with the instructions on the package, that is, boil it in plenty of salted boiling water for about 10-15 minutes.

Combine chocolate chips, cinnamon, candied fruit and finally the cooked grain.
At this point I have made some pretty big balls, rather than simply leave information into individual bowls (opened for the occasion!): The mixture is nice consistent and you can easily work with two spoons, scoop type (a bit 'obese, actually ...).

Place in refrigerator at least half an hour before serving.

Cake Bakeries In Toronto

2 / 1

Tomorrow is the Feast of Saint Lucia and I, like many of Syracuse, will take part in the procession to be held in the streets of the city. For several days

Syracuse is getting dressed in their Sunday best, certainly for the upcoming Christmas holidays approaching faster and faster, but mainly (appunto!) for the solemn celebrations in honor of the Patron Saint.

newspapers and local TV stations abound, special programs, historical information and traditions about, as well as school pupils have returned to the story of Lucia.

Some traditions relate to the food ... and could I resist?
No, I could not!
Then one day in advance, that tomorrow I would not have the time, and I organize a Sunday lunch not bad at all.

The other day I made a nice sauce meatballs. And I
orient towards the rice as tomorrow, in honor of one of its miracles, it would use meals based on wheat, rice, legumes and / or cereals in the form of grain.
It is said that the Holy saved the Sicilians from a severe famine that devastated the population in 1646, making a landing ship loaded with grain.
His arrival was heralded by a quail carrying a grain of wheat in its bill.

arancine Instead of, as would be customary to eat tomorrow, I have prepared:

baked rice (as my grandmother did!)

Ingredients (for 4 people - bis included!):
- 400 gr. rice;
- sauce tomato soup with meatballs;
- 50 gr. butter;
- 100 gr. sheep cheese;
- 2 eggs;
- 2 slices of ham;
- 100 gr. peas;
- 100 gr. of fresh cheese;
- 100 gr. grated Parmesan cheese;

Prepare the sauce with meatballs (I do so ), one or two days before.

Stew peas making season in a pan with a piece of onion and a little 'oil.
Add ½ cup water, add salt, cover and cook gently for about 15 minutes.

Cook eggs until one of the two becomes hard.

Meanwhile boil the rice in plenty of water salt, drain and season with about half of the butter and 3 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese.
Mix well and slowly add 1 / 3 of tomato sauce.

Line a baking pan with olive oil and bread crumbs, then pour half the rice on the bottom and compact it well.

Season with more sauce and begin to lay out all the above ingredients: the egg, peas, ricotta cheese and reduced to pieces, ham and meatballs cut in half.

Cover with the remaining rice, with the remaining sauce, with other sliced cheese, a good sprinkling of grated cheese, butter and a sprig of beaten egg.

Bake at 200 ° C for 30-40 minutes.

Meanwhile, at sea, took place just another race ...

And, again, as tradition has it, no grain to be wasted: that advances in rice and wheat which I have prepared Cuccìa , is fed to the birds , on the sill of the balcony!

Resin And Ceramic Watches

A SCARF AND DOWN, SOON!

Eccheffreddddooooo-ohhh!
Comedevofareeee-ehh??

The strange thing, and it might not help, is that there was a period of acclimatization through which used to (at least I, who suffer the cold very) slowly and gently.
.
There were days of warmth, and then a couple of days beautiful babes, and then again once the spring, missing Easter was on its way!
The other day in short sleeves with wide balconies, with the sun and the sea invaded everything calm and bright, and we who dine happy with the swordfish, and after sunset, accompanied by a warm Scirocco that has surprised everyone.
Then, yesterday, began to blow this north wind, which not only bring the sleigh of Santa Claus is bringing me knows that even the Queen of the Snows.
.
The air is so clear this morning, from Syracuse, you could see the whole coast up to Messina and Mount Etna - innevatissima! - Stavagliava is so sharp that it seemed he might take his hand.
Etna tonight we also see from here (50 km. Even further south), is small, comes out only his crown behind the mountains of Cugno, but there is.
How cold.

Ah, this is the lunch we enjoyed the other day ...

swordfish GRATIN (one of my favorite dishes!)

Ingredients (for 2 people ) :
- 2 slices of swordfish;
- 100 gr. some bread the day before;
- 1 handful of blanched almonds and roasted;
- 2 tablespoons raisins;
- 1 tablespoon pine nuts;
- ½ clove garlic (optional);
- 1 pinch of oregano;
- chopped parsley;
- olive oil;
- salt, to taste

News: This time I used bread crumbs instead of the bread, as I had seen done in Damiana with these rolls.
I must say that the result is far better, because the sensation is like biting into a nice crisp and golden cloud.
.
So: the bread mix, reduced to small pieces with almonds.
Pour into a bowl and season with olive oil, salt, parsley, oregano and minced garlic.
Combine the raisins, which was found in a glass of hot water, and pine nuts.

Place on a sheet of parchment paper the swordfish slices, sprinkle with a little olive oil, salt them lightly, cover with the mixture of seasoned bread and bake at 200 ° C for about 20 minutes.

Sukida Motorcycles In China

THE SOUNDTRACK OF THESE DAYS

Both little girl that I really enjoy this song, and especially this beautiful version of rhythm and a little 'vintage ... It takes a joy
....!!!!
.
The tree we have done so, and now the CD plays continuously in the car, even at the cost of doing one of my usual figures: coming near the traffic light, which promptly becomes red as soon as I approach the stop sign, take the heat of the moment Music continuous indistuirbata my performace singing solo.
The problem (for my mind and because of my shyness atavistic) arises when I look at the faces of my "neighbors" of waiting, I look a bit 'surprised.
Then, red over red that keeps us there, nailed, all of a sudden I lose my voice and I hope to me baby, baby, baby ...
